Privacy Policy

Who we are
CompetePrep is developed and operated by RK Innovations ("RK Innovations", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information CompetePrep collects, why, and how it's handled.
Information we do not collect
CompetePrep has no sign-up, login, or user account of any kind. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other way to identify you personally.
Information stored on your device
When you practice questions, take mock tests, or bookmark a question, that activity is saved in a local database on your own phone, so the app can show your progress and let you resume where you left off. This information:
- never leaves your device or gets sent to us or any server we control;
- is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app, or on demand using the in-app "Reset progress" option on any paper;
- is not linked to any personal identity, because the app has none to link it to.
Advertising
CompetePrep shows ads through Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general location, and app interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads. This happens under Google's own privacy policy, not ours:
Ads are never shown inside a timed mock test — only in practice mode and between screens. Depending on your region, you may be able to limit ad personalization through your device's ad settings (for example, Android Settings → Privacy → Ads).
We do not run our own analytics or tracking SDKs beyond what AdMob itself includes.
Data retention and deletion
Since your practice data lives only on your device, uninstalling CompetePrep permanently deletes it. There is nothing stored on our end to separately request deletion of.
Children's privacy
CompetePrep is built for students preparing for JEE, NEET, GATE, and CLAT — generally aged 15 and older — and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
Because CompetePrep has no accounts and stores practice data only on-device, there's no server-side account database to secure or breach. Ad-related traffic between the app and Google's AdMob servers is encrypted (HTTPS).

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
