Who we are
ExamAce is developed and operated by RK Innovations ("RK Innovations", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information ExamAce collects, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you register. We never store your password in plain text.
- Practice activity — the questions you attempt, the answers you submit, your scores, and the AI-generated feedback for each attempt, so your progress dashboard can be built from it.
- Plan status — whether your account is on the Free tier or has an active Premium pass, and when that pass expires.
- Basic technical data — standard request metadata (like IP address) used only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention, not for tracking.
We do not run advertising and do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
How your answers are graded
When you submit a practice answer, its text is sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) solely to generate a score, feedback, and a model answer. Anthropic processes this text as our service provider under its own data-handling terms and does not use it to train models. No other content from your account is shared with Anthropic.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and keep you signed in.
- To grade your practice answers and show you feedback.
- To calculate your progress and topic-mastery dashboard.
- To enforce the free-tier daily question limit and Premium entitlements.
- To investigate abuse — such as automated sign-in attempts — using rate-limiting.
We do not sell your personal information, to anyone, ever.
Payments
Premium access, once live, is sold as a one-time purchase through Google Play's billing system, covering 1 year of access. It is not a recurring subscription — there is no auto-renewal, and we will never charge you again without you actively choosing to buy another year. RK Innovations does not directly receive or store your payment card details; Google Play handles that.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and practice history for as long as your account is active, so your progress isn't lost between sessions. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below — we don't yet have a self-service delete option in the app, but we'll act on requests promptly.
Children's privacy
ExamAce is built for students preparing for CBSE Class 8–12 exams, many of whom are minors. We collect only what's described above, never request more than a name and email to create an account, and recommend that students under 18 have a parent or guardian review this policy with them before signing up.
Security
Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text; all traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS); and sign-in is protected against automated password-guessing with rate limits and account lockouts.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account entirely, at any time, by contacting us below.
